I dont know what to do my pics look different? 

Today.=)

Today I will begin the 1st portrait and in doing so, I will show you my tools and processes.
My picture will be of me. Here are a list of things I use.
As you can see, a mechanical pencil .7mm, a full lead graphite pencil, kneaded eraser, and regular eraser, plus a sharpener an bin, on just regular Walmart sketchbook paper.

  I begin with the eyes shading in that area going out. Then connecting them and going down.

Your finished proceed above the eye brows.

Artistic Passions

Well how do I start? I’m a 16 year old who loves to draw, play sports, and school. My life is hard; and art is my inspiration. So I'm going to make a goal to complete 212 portraits in the year 2012; to apply for as many art scholar ships as possible. With these portraits I will have a fund raiser in which I will sell them for $5 apiece. The money will be donated to a local charity; and I will use this as my senior project.

I started drawing at the age of 12, all the thanks of my 1st art teacher Ms. Langford. I learned of my skills in drawing. From then i kept drawing and now here I am.

My second art teacher is Mrs. Mickinne, she fueled the desire for inspiration. To spark my creativity. Here learned about my skill of human faces.




Then of course there is Mr Far. He has helped me tune my skills in drawing faces.

I apoligise for the weird scan, the matt again did not allow it to be easily scanned, and the thin paper was the cause of it to appear so light. I will look for a solution to this problem.
